Carl Hankey is proud to be the only K-8 public school in South Orange County providing a world-renowned International Baccalaureate curriculum to every student. This rigorous course of study requires competency in multiple subject areas above California’s educational standards and stipulates intensive supplemental teacher training. This extraordinary education is free to our students, however funding the program costs approximately $40,000 a year.
The $40,000 pays for elementary Spanish classes and middle school design classes as well as IB materials and teacher training. The Carl Hankey community (parents and corporate sponsors) pay for these programs. This comes out to approximately $125 per student to keep the IB program funded and prospering.

Direct Donations (Any dollar amount) – if you’d like to donate financially, your deduction is tax-free and can be made via all major credit cards through PayPal portal (accepting all major credit cards). You do not need a Paypal account to donate.
