The Carl Hankey International Education Foundation (CHIEF) serves as a supportive body, enriching the students, teachers and families of Carl Hankey K-8 through support of the International Baccalaureate program.
CHIEF is an independent, not-for-profit organization currently governed by a temporary board whose job is the founding of the organization. In February 2011, the Foundation received 501c status identifying it as a non-profit organization and making it eligible for grants and other financial contributions.
CHIEF was established to provide oversight, collect and manage contributions from individuals, businesses, and organizations to support the International Baccalaureate program at Carl Hankey School. Our goals are to:
- Support the IB program at Hankey by providing funding not available through traditional sources
- Apply for and award grants in support of educational excellence
- Encourage community and business involvement in our school
Thank you for your support and engagement.
